Returns Policy

1. In the unlikely event that the buyer is not 100% thrilled with our product within 30 days, the buyer can return the item back to Sideways. The buyer pays for freight charges to return the item to Sideways and we will  promptly and courteously refund 100% of the purchase price less original freight, pay pal and handling cost.

2. Items returned must be in original packaging and complete.

3. Sideways will not accept the return of used items

You should expect to receive your refund within 2 week of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Our Buy Back Policy

We will buy your surfboard back for 50% of the purchased price. So if you want to advance to the next level or invest in another board, you can save yourself big bucks!

*conditions apply (50% is only valid if the board has not been heavily damaged)


Surfboards & Domestic Shipping


To calculate the shipping to your destination please select the items you are after and add to cart, when you proceed to checkout and enter your postcode the shipping will then be calculated. This does not lock you into continuing the sale but instead can then give you an idea of the costs involved. The shipping rates at Sideways are very good rates; you will be very impressed! We can ship to any address in Australia.

1. Pick ups are welcome at our shop in Tweed Heads South or Surfers Paradise.

2. We do not post Surfboards to PO BOX, please supply correct information to our logistic department, Sideways will not be responsible for any delays as a result.

3. Our freight normally take between 3-7 working days unless public holidays are in question and may be delayed 1 or 2 days.

4. As delivery is usually carried out between 9am and 5pm (Monday to Friday) we recommend that if you are not at home to sign for the goods, you need to provide us with your work address for delivery to avoid re-delivery fees of $25 at which the customer will be charged. A contact phone number is required to ensure the transport company can contact you if necessary.

5. We use a reputable transport company. Our packaging is excellent... the board is bubble wraped with re-inforcement on nose, tail and rails and then boxed.

6. Please note that we do not take responsibility of damaged surfboards in transit. If the damage is over $100 worth then we will have the product returned.
